Our customers can buy gold and silver products either by ordering in the online store or by visiting one of our offices, where the desired products can be purchased over the counter. Note that customer, payer and recipient must be one and the same person. This applies to purchases both in the online store and in the offices.
Pay for orders online
Tavex only accepts bank transfers, Trustly or Card Payments for purchases in the online store.
1.1 Invoice: When you have placed an order in Tavex’s online store, you will automatically be sent an invoice with payment information to the email address you provided during the payment process. When making a bank transfer, always refer to the order number.
.1.2 Trustly: Private individuals can pay with Trustly up to NOK 65,000. Remember to choose Trustly as your payment method before paying. You will then be told to choose which bank you use. You can choose from the following banks: DnB, S’banken, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Sparebank 1, Danske Bank, Sparebanken Vest. You confirm the transaction with Bank-ID, Bank-ID on mobile or another code chip from your bank. If you use Trustly, the money will be transferred immediately from your bank account so that you can complete your purchase quickly.
1.3 Card Payments: With the card payments, you have options to pay by using Visa and Mastercard, both credit and debit card.
2. Validity of the order: As the price of gold and silver varies with the world price, the invoice must be paid within 15 minutes of the order being placed. On Sundays and public holidays, the order must be paid no later than 08:00 the next working day to be valid. We accept a time delay for transfers between different banks, but to keep the price fixed until the amount is cleared, you must send us an email stating that you have paid.
3. Clearing the amount: It can take 1-3 working days to clear the amount, depending on the bank you use (clearance usually happens immediately).
4. Transfer limits and fees: There is no upper or lower limit, and also no fees, when transferring money to Tavex by bank transfer.
Pay at the store
For purchases at the store, Tavex accepts, Bank Accept (debit card), payment cards and credit cards.
1. Cash: Tavex does not accept cash payments!
2. Payment with other cards/credit card: Please note that a fee of 5 percent is added to the total value if the purchase is paid with a credit card or other card issued by a foreign bank. We do not accept Diners cards or American Express. If the purchase is paid with a BankAxept card, Tavex does not charge a fee.

Note that these account numbers come with an IBAN number at the start of the account number on the invoice. So you don’t need to enter NO40 or NO64 when transferring from a Norwegian bank account. You only need the last 11 digits.
