The Perth Mint is a world distinguished mint and precious metals refiner that is located in the City of Perth, in Western Australia. For the first time, these 2024 Kookaburra coins have a new obverse design by Dan Thorne, depicting the Australian His Majesty King Charles III. This design separates itself from Martin Jennings' obverse designs on UK currency.

Additionally, the coin is imprinted with the following information:

Reverse

The reverse side of these coins depicts a beautiful Australian native, the Kookaburra, gliding over a gorge and grasping a snake in its talons.

The accompanying inscription reads as follows.
